Ajay's evening ( Story ).

Ajay's evening.

It was very hot. Ajay had applied for a passport. After being rejected by his wife because of his toxic behavior, he planned to go abroad for work. So he applied for a passport, and it was successful. For a while, Ajay thought about applying for a Non-Creamy Layer certificate. He believed he might get a positive result for a teaching post in KV, and he planned his future with that hope.

But even the application process was painful. One question asked whether he held any assets — no. Another asked for his father’s exact address — he had no idea. He only knew it was somewhere in Ernakulam. He didn’t know the details, but he knew his father was a retired state government employee. After his mother’s death, his father remarried. As usual, Ajay lost his family.

Unfortunately, all he had was the title of being the son of a government employee. Nothing else.

The ration card was with Ajay and his brother. His brother worked in the Railways. Because his parent was a government employee, Ajay could not apply for the Non-Creamy Layer certificate. He was dependent on his brother. Ajay was clearly in pain.

While explaining his situation to the lady sitting in front of him, he began to sweat.

As he spoke, the lady quietly started shedding tears. He noticed the change in her face.

Ajay was never a career-oriented man. He focused on relationships. The only genuine effort he made in life was for his relationship. Once, his teacher had told him that he was a feminist. He even left a better-paying job to live with his wife. He was very egoistic — he never asked for a single penny from his wife. There was no dowry. Still, he held on to his ego. He always tried to shape his life according to his wife’s wishes. He went to live with her, trusting the words of his mother-in-law. Caste and money did not matter to him. But in the end, everything turned into a problem. Without doing any so-called harassment to his partner, he still became a failed husband.

No matter what happened, Ajay is still trying his best. Now he has to take care of himself. His monthly medicines, food, accommodation, and rent all depend on him.

Even though he became toxic to his partner and was rejected by his parents, Ajay is still trying very hard to rise.

This is the inbuilt software Ajay always carries in his heart.

He will rise. 🌱
